Sade's 'Soldier of Love' makes history

It didn’t take Nigerian-born singer Sade to shake up the music charts. Her hit single “Soldier of Love,” which was released December 8, hit No. 11 on the Urban Hot AC chart, which is the highest debut of the decade and third highest of all time on the chart. “Soldier” also hit No. 1 on the Smooth Jazz Top 20 Countdown. Never has a song with vocals hit No. 1 on the jazz chart. Conclusion: Sade is a bad, bad girl.
