‘Les Grossman’ destroys MTV Movie Awards

MTV pulled off another mea culpa last night with its annual movie awards show, completing an illustrious comeback for Jennifer Lopez and raising a haggled Tom Cruise back into the nationa consciousness.
Cruise, as his character Les Grossman from the film “Tropic Thunder,” performed a rousing and hilarious number during the show with J-Lo, who looked like herself in 1998.
Les Grossman, in some people’s opinion, was the funniest character in the ensemble cast of “Tropic Thunder,” which featured a “black” Robert Downey. For MTV to bring Cruise in and have him not only act the fool but do a fully choreographed number with “Jenny From the Block”? Brilliant.
