Few things are as summarily booed and cheered equally as holy matrimony.
When you add the world ‘celebrity’ to that mix, you get an explosive hodgepodge of flashing lights, baby bumps and more.
Of course we all know about Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz upcoming nuptials, but Popwife has rounded up for you a slew of celebrity couples that are very likely, make that just about there when it comes to putting a ring on it.

Tiny and T.I.

This ATL couple, who have been kicking it together now for about 10 years, is close to tying the knot this year. Tiny Cottle, in an interview with Vibe Magazine famously said mind your beezwax when asked if she was ready for the “wifey” title.

“I don’t really worry about what people say about what’s taking so long,” Cottle said. “Like, it ain’t none of your business what’s taking so long. If we happy, why are you so concerned?”

Kenyon Martin and Trina

There have been some nasty rumors out there over why the Denver Nuggets basketball player and Miami rapper have been on again and off, but love has a way. Or at least $16 million will. But who’s counting when you’re the “baddest”?

Ah, no couple has been scrutinized and pontificated on more than the baller and athlete-lovin’ Gabby U. The still married Wade, who bears a strange resemblance to a charred Twitter bird, finally came with some PDA last week at a charity basketball event that left naive fans excited but the rest of us “Mel Gibson” shrugging at it all. As for Gabby and her prowess for luring athletes? “She’s like the U in the ’80s.”

Don’t get it twisted. Porn is a great motivator. When Reggie Bush saw “Ray J’s Great Adventure” on DVD a few years back he was captivated, fixated, and well, “Vanilla Wasted.” It’s just a matter of time before, Kim makes it 3 for 3 for the Kardashian girls getting wifed. That Amber Rose thing? Just for show.
