Lauryn Hill joined on stage by Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Beyonce and more (video)
August 29, 2010 No CommentsThe Rock the Bells Festival this weekend, Lauryn Hill took it back to the Fugee days and was joined on stage by none other than Mary J. Blige (at the 2:58 mark), Beyonce (at the 3:17 mark), a very pregnant Alicia Keys (3:38), Swizz Beats (4:10), Chris Rock (4:37), Jay-Z (5:00) and John Legend (5:23).
The ensemble cast were all back stage and invited to peek out and wave to the crowd as Hill performed a very Rasta rendition of “Fugee La,” a Fugee hit from back in the day.
Lauren, who’s known to give great performances, is making a comeback after sporadic hiatuses over the past 13 years.
The Rock the Bells festival is an annual hip-hop festival, rap’s version of Woodstock (well not quite), that gets its name from the anthemic LL Cool J hit from the same name.
