Beyonce recently arrived at in event wearing a Emilio Pucci dress.
The “Single Ladies” star decided to rock a mermaid-style silhouette that was deadpanned by critics across the web.
You would have thought Bey came out dressed in fish scales. Was it really that bad?
The Cut magazine, a fashion blog, tweeted at the event, saying, “OMG Beyonce and Jay-Z are being BOOED at the #MetGala for not posing for pictures! Yes, boo!” They added: “Beyonce’s Pucci dress was so tight she could barely walk up the stairs as she failed to stop for the photographers.”
One web commenter, Chimmer, said: “i love Beyonce, but why wear that damn dress? plus how the heck you sit in that dress?”
Another said: “She’s not a style icon. No way.”
Okay, she makes one misstep out of 1,000. Really???
